| Making interactive websites | Figure Out The Real Issues |
Organizations have and use websites for various reasons. Some organizations use their websites for publishing product brochures, others use them to inform customers and stakeholders about the organizational hierarchy and even post pictures of the company directors and top executive management.
- From a customer's viewpoint these may not be the best ways using websites to help them. It would be more effective if a website could be proactive in addressing my needs as customer, by responding to my requests for information.
- But could a website visited by thousands or even millions of people per day, be made to respond to the diverse needs of the visitors?
- Yes, it can but only if we take time to work out the real issues.
- The real challenges to be addressed will differ from one situation to another, but we could achieve identifying classes of visitors and then positioning our websites to them in various ways.
- Take time to analyze your situation and determine the real issues for your business. Redesign your website so that it is aligned with your goals and objectives.
